Lisa Whitson Burns

Lisa is a composer, dramatist and educator, originally from Honolulu, Hawaii.  She holds a BA from Harvard University and an MFA from the Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program at Tisch School of the Arts, NYU.  In addition to creating new work, Lisa is passionate about exploring music and theatre with youth in underserved communities internationally through the non-profit organization she founded, Far Corners Community Musical Theatre (www.farcornersmusicals.org).
