Jacob Lyon

Jacob Lyon is a passionate singer, conductor, and composer based in the New York City area, focusing primarily on classical, choral, and musical theatre genres. His passion for music began at an early age singing in church choirs while growing up in northwest Iowa. Along with singing he became a rounded musician while studying piano, French horn, and viola. He graduated from the University of Virginia with degrees in Music and Psychology. At UVA he was music director for his a cappella group The Virginia Gentlemen, and his arrangements for the group were featured in the Voices Only and BOCA (Best of College A Cappella) compilation CDs. You may have previously seen him perform with the Choral Society of Grace Church at Carnegie Hall or Central City Chorus. His primary singing styles are choral, classical and musical theatre.

Currently Jacob sings, conducts, and composes with the C4 Ensemble in New York City. In his free time he is likely baking up a storm or tending to his garden.
