Liza Couser

Liza Couser (she/her) is a Wisconsin-raised, New York City-based singer, theater director, and producer. Liza earned her BA in Theater and Linguistics from Dartmouth College, where she sang, musical-directed, and arranged music for multiple singing groups. As a theater director, Liza has collaborated on several new musicals including Tracy Triceratops and the End of History (Director, Vox Lab), With Words That Don’t Exist (Director/Composer, Vox Lab), Oratorio for Living Things (Assistant Director, Ars Nova), and Red Emma and the Mad Monk (Assistant Director). Select performance credits: The Secret Garden (Rose, New London Barn Playhouse), Mamma Mia! (Ensemble, Northern Stage), West Side Story ("Somewhere" Soloist, New London Barn Playhouse), Godspell ("By My Side" soloist, New London Barn Playhouse). In her free time, Liza can be found scratching her dog's belly and/or eating fried cheese. lizacouser.com
