CYCLE 3: IDENTITY
“Identity” explores the joys and fears of accepting our true identities. C4 will perform a world premiere featuring electronic live-sampling by composer Robert Ouyang Rusli, exploring his Asian-American identity and the concept of collective cultural identity. Visual artist Jesse Kipp will create an installation to accompany Jonathan David's and Zsuzsanna Ardó's Triptych, which offers a haunting warning of the evil that can come from classifying groups of people. Also on the program: works by Daniel Andor-Ardó, Eli Berman, Gordon Hamilton, Jamie Klenetsky Fay, and Karen Siegel.
