CYCLE 3: IDENTITY

NOTICE: Due to COVID-19, our "Identity" concerts have been postponed. We look forward to being able to bring you this beautiful program once it is safe to gather again.

“Identity” explores the joys and fears of accepting our true identities. C4 will perform a world premiere featuring electronic live-sampling by composer Robert Ouyang Rusli, exploring his Asian-American identity and the concept of collective cultural identity. Visual artist Jesse Kipp will create an installation to accompany Jonathan David's and Zsuzsanna Ardó's Triptych, which offers a haunting warning of the evil that can come from classifying groups of people. Also on the program: works by Daniel Andor-Ardó, Gordon Hamilton, Jamie Klenetsky Fay, and Karen Siegel.
