C4 announces auditions for its 2007-2008 concert
season, with performances on Saturdays, November 17
and June 7. We are currently seeking all voice parts
for our Symphonic Chorus. We will also hear all voices
interested in the Chamber Chorus, but we're especially
seeking alto and bass. Auditions will be held at the
Norwegian Seamen's Church at 317 East 52nd Street
(between 1st and 2nd Avenues) on the following dates:
Thursday, September 6: 7:00-8:00 PM
Thursday, September 20: 7:00-8:00 PM
Please e-mail audition@c4ensemble.org if interested, and indicate a preferred date and 10-minute time slot. No preparation is required; the audition consists of several vocal and hearing exercises, a short sight-reading excerpt, and a blending test. A full rehearsal schedule will be sent to you upon acceptance. Don't worry--if you can't join us for one particular concert, you will be kept on the list and asked for your availability for future concerts.
