Winter 2023 Concert: A Parable of Choices

Thursday, Mar 16, 8:00pm - Church of the Transfiguration, 1 E. 29th St., Manhattan
On Thursday, March 16 at the Church of the Transfiguration in Manhattan, C4 joins forces with Infinitus, a student-led choral collective from Jacksonville University and the first collegiate member of the Choral Composer/Conductor Collective (C4 Network), for A Parable of Choices, a choral concert that explores the nature of decision-making, collaboration, and duplicity. 

C4's set will include:
  • O Oriens / Wie schön leuchtet der Morgenstern, Hayes Biggs (World Premiere)
  • Psalm 142, Robert Buonaspina (World Premiere)
  • A Parable of Choices, Julian David Bryson
  • Uprooted, Sarah Rimkus
  • Last Spring, David Lang
  • Kyrie, Zanaida Robles

Infinitus' set will include:
  • Miles to Go, James W. Knox
  • Time, Jennifer Lucy Cook
  • ¡Ayúdame!, Carlos Cordero
  • Helios: I. Pluto (The Border), Timothy Takach
  • Dawn, Steven James Schmidt
  • The Dawn's Awake!, Mark Lehnowsky

Together with Infinitus:
  • Sound, Leslie Frost and Perry Townsend (World Premiere)
  • My Darling Turns to Poetry at Night, ​Brian Mountford and Ron Rybaczuk (World Premiere)
